Power is given only to those who dare to lower themselves and pick it up.*
I've been mulling over the concept of power for the past few days.A simple decision became decidedly more complex. And it's all about power. Power that's been handed to me on a plate.
People may think that power makes you happy, but I am refusing to lower myself to pick it up.
Now, my question is: If not power, what will make me happy. Apparently, the answer was not "a Chipotle Vegetarian Fajita Burrito."

It is a bit cryptic. Still -- It seems like you are happiest when you are surrounded by your friends and a man with whom you can share your life. Perhaps that is all you need.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe you just want more shoes. How would I know?
Yes, very cryptic. Let's see:
ReplyDelete- Is power making you unhappy or just had a neutral effect on your happiness?
- Are you looking for sources of happiness or answer to the impact of power on happiness?
- Is it really about power and happiness or on what decision you should make with the power that was handed to you on a plate?
gayprof: I DO WANT MORE SHOES! How did you get to be so clever?
ReplyDeletebala wala shi: yes.
VUBOQ is too cryptic!
ReplyDeleteThere are different kinds of power. Assuming you are talking about the crappy kind--no, ultimately that doesn't make anyone happy, because it requires so much effort to maintain that power.
As for happy--people are so hung up on what will make them happy, but I don't really know what htat means.
power = ego. it's not real. it's stupid. don't play that shit.
ReplyDeleteburrito should have helped. quandary.
