Good Evening, Kittens! As I am waiting for K-Factor to get home from her meeting (so she can drive us to Pottery Class), I thought I'd take a few minutes to update you on my fun-filled weekend. Friday night, the plans I thought I had turned out to be plans for this coming Friday.  Oops.  Calendar Entry Error!  So, I spent the night at home.  Alone.  Eating gelato and watching "Milk."  Which, btw, was fabulous.  And made me cry.  Bastards! And, it snowed.  WTF? (other than it being cold.  and winter, i mean.  This isn't forking Canadia or something). Saturday, I did errand-like things.  And sort of thought about cleaning.  In the late afternoon, Tomokito came down and we drank many cocktails and talked of many things.  SCGB and his SCBF were supposed to join us, but SCGB had the sniffles.  Or he hates me. Saturday evening, Mike (Who Makes Cakes) invited me out ... but, um, it was cold.  And, WTF?, i...

8 Degree Wind Chill. And, that would be why, Dear Kittens, yours truly did not venture forth unto the Mall to Witness History. Instead, I watched it all in TechniColor with SCGB, and I did celebrate President Obama's Inauguration in the my own special way ... Apparently, "Yes We Can" tastes like crappy dry sugar cookies covered in barfy white chocolate. Have a Great Day! *smooches*

Forget the dry skin, the chapped lips, the shivering, the chattering teeth, the oh-so-charmingly purple fingernails . All that is NOTHING, because I Got Da Sheets!!! The Winter Activity Polar Bears Flannel Sheets, no less. I went home for lunch and made my bed. I can't wait to go to sleep tonight!

I was planning on walking to the post office this morning to mail off a few packages. However, it be cold. And I don't wanna go outside. [I also have been a bit busy this morning answering email inquiries, but that wasn't what kept me from going.] I am such a wuss. On the bright side, it's inspired me to make yummy Spicy Chinese Noodle Soup with Bok Choy and Mushrooms. And Tofu! Mmmmm ... With Rice! (and speaking of rice ...) Last night, I did three (count 'em, THREE) friggin' loads of laundry. And, I still have another load that I couldn't motivate to do. *sigh* Tomoko came down for drinks and conversation around 9. Yay! We had Manhattans. Mmm. And that's about it. *smooches*
