Behold, the Ravages of Age

Earlier this morning, I had an amazing idea for a blog post ... you know, even more amazing than my regular this-is-what-I-did-and-you-all-should-be-insanely-jealous-of-my-fabulous-lifestyle posts. Un fortunately, I booted up my work computer, got sucked in to watching the Project RunGayBoys' latest post , about their trip to NYC to see a show featuring three looks from each Season 4 designer, and completely forgot what I was going to write. Instead I'm going to babble for a few moments about nothing in particular. It's laundry day. I'm wearing uncomfortable underwear, because I have no clean clothes. I remembered a few minutes ago that I was planning on participating in NaNoWriMo, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe if I buckle down and put myself on a schedule of some sort. Ha! Like that will happen. I'd also like to thank Dykewife for the fabulous house-heating package I received two days ago. It was filled with all sorts of Canadian goodies,...

Forgetfulness

Have you ever thought of a really funny idea for a post and then completely forgotten what you were going to write? Yeah, I haven't ever thought of a really funny post either. I did have an idea this morning that, for the life of me, I can't remember. Gah. So here are a few tasty tidbits to tide you over ... 1. I made very good food last night: I sauteed a huge clove of garlic (minced) and a small red bell pepper (diced). Then, I added some spinach and basil, picked fresh from the garden. Next, I tossed in the last of my feta (cubed). Once that all got heated through, I mixed in about 2 cups of rice and a couple of shakes of soy sauce. It was surprisingly good. Only later did I remember that I wanted to include a veggie bratwurst-like sausage thing that I have in my freezer. I will add that to the leftovers tonight, I suppose. 2.
