Look! A Poll!

Hi, kittens.

One of my good friends, Steve (of Steveandbobby fame), recently became a US Citizen. This coming Saturday, I will be attending a party to celebrate his Americanosity. I, of course, will be wearing my Star-Spangled Satin Tights.

Anyway, it's a party. There will be booze. And, now, the poll:

  1. I already shelved my own April-alcohol freeness. It would only validate my choices if you did the same.

  2. Sorry Charlie, you'll feel better about it if you don't drink now.
And it will give you an excuse to have an American-themed infused vodkas (currant, blueberry and straight?) party in May.

  5. NO! You have to be strong.

But you should definitely wear the tights. All americans should own star-spangled tights, it should even be a requirement to become american.
They would ask:"Do you have your really american tights? You know you need them to pass the great test of american citizenship?" That would be fun!

  6. I've already fallen off the alcohol-free wagon three times in April. So very very weak. xoxo, SG

  8. This is a hard one. But I'm having trouble making decisions. It is almost the end of the month, so you've made it this far. At that point I get confused. Do we a) celebrate that level of committment and let it go? or b) stick to our vow of alcohollessness for just a few more days, since it's almost over? Good luck, buddy. I'm at a loss.

  9. Oooooh dear--such a dilemma! I was going to say just enjoy the one night, but now I'm kinda with everyone else--you *are* almost at the end of the month. Hey--here's a solution! how 'bout if I drink *for* you!

  11. I have no opinion on this, but I had to vote to see the results. It was your decision to embark on an alcohol-free month; it's up to you to set the rules. I'll think no less of you whatever you decide. :>)
