The Cuzin Shares Her Wisdom
In an email to my most fantastic cuzin, I was bemoaning the fact that I have very few friends who like the gin. In fact, I can count my friends who like the gin on one finger.
The cuzin responded to my plaintive wail thusly,
"Listen – the less people who like the gin = more gin for you."
Suddenly, the clouds, they parted. The birds, they sang. The snow flurries, they stopped flurrying.
More. Gin. For. Me. *woot*
And, so I share with you, my non-gin drinking kittens, the recipe for a drink from Casino Royale:
3 parts gin
1 part vodka
1/2 part [or 1 part] lillet
Shake over ice.
Strain.
Garnish with a twist.

I am allergic to juniper, therefore most gin is not good for me.
ReplyDeleteI feel the need to always point that out when gin is mentioned.
Gayprof: Fortunately, Leopold's also distills their own vodka.
ReplyDeleteThief. I posted that recipe MONTHS ago.
