12 of 12: Autumnal Edition
It's a bit early, but I'm not going to be doing anything else today ... other than sit on my sofa. So, here's my 12 of 12. Enjoy!
Isabella relaxes in the early morning sun!

My chrysanthemums are blooming!
I think this photo may be upside down. But, it doesn't look right no matter which way I rotate it.
If you own that blue car at the end of the line, I hate you.
No, srsly. I do. That car's alarm started going off around midnight last night. It was still going off this morning. I called the cops at 10AM. They couldn't do anything. According to a neighbor, it finally stopped around 1:30.
On my way to the pottery studio, surreptitiously taking a photo of a cute boy on the Metro.

I use the kickwheel.

Sometimes it's difficult finding your center.

The cylinder ...

After shaping ...

Balloons!

Foliage!

Pumpkins! 2 for $10!

And, it seems like all my 12 of 12s end this way ...

Martini!

Bossy loves this feature, but you already knew that.
ReplyDeleteEspecially the cute boy and the cheese and 'tini.
Is that a dirty martini I see? Yum.
ReplyDeleteI love these foliage pictures. Lots of bloggers are posting foliage these days. It's interesting to see the progression of the colors across the continent. The cheese and crackers look scrumptious. Is that bleu cheese?
ReplyDeletePretty mums. Mine are just starting to bud, though a few bloomed in July, August and September due (I guess) to some prolonged cold spells we had this summer.
ReplyDeleteI never remember to 12 of 12.
You have completely put me in the mood for fall. This weekend was a preview, but otherwise fall is arriving a little late in Arizona. Still supposed to get up in the mid-90's this week.
ReplyDeleteI used to ride a kickwheel when I was a little kid.
ReplyDeleteNo, wait...
WTF - "I called the cops at 10AM. They couldn't do anything." next time the neighborhood should smash the $hit outta da car! then y'all could use the insanity defense at the trial!
ReplyDeleteyour mum pix is right side up.
did you go talk to the cute boy?
another cannister in the works, perhaps???
"meow" to pretty isabella!
thanks for the autumnal colors; fall is my favorite time of year!
and YAYZ for martini time! (lifts a pinot grigio in salute)
That's some nice pottery work, good job!
ReplyDeleteYou're getting so expert at the pottery. Maybe it's your calling.
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot, again.
Having been in same situation with an ex partner, you must constantly keep in mind that he's an ex for a reason, and so are you. Wish him well (quietly to yourself because it's good Karma) and stop answering his calls or emails. Concentrate on taking care of yourself, because he sure didn't worry about taking care of you.
ReplyDeleteI totally know what you mean about rabid car alarms! I don't even think people pay them mind anymore.
ReplyDeleteGreat pottery! I've been thinking about taking a sculpture class.
Great 12 of 12!
Great shots! I hear you fo sho on the car alarms. I swear people just put them on and forget about them. It's absurd.
ReplyDeleteAnd awesome job on the pottery! :)
What carlnepa said. Word.
ReplyDeleteGreat pix! A golden day, fer sure. I wish I could do pottery. Issabella is gorgeous. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! I wish I could create things like pottery but my attempts would look like something from a 5 year old.
