Thus Saith the Lord

We have reached Day 4 of All Messiah All the Time and *still* no co-workers have complained. I must be doing something wrong. Perhaps I should crank up the volume ... Or start singing along. For lunch today I am eating a bag of potato chips. Kettle Chips: Tuscan Three Cheese: Mediterranean VACATION in a bag! woo hoo! Tres. Healthy. At least they're better than the feet-like Cheddar Beer flavor (gag). (sorry, Billy .) Oh, tonight, I'm going to Teaism in Penn Quarter to meet Bellringer Mike's boyfriend. If you remember, BRM is the guy I was going to meet in Glasgow, but his visa didn't come through in time. He's there now though. But, the boyfriend's visa is stuck somewhere in a quagmire of red tape and paperwork. Joy. Then, I'm going home. To knit, natch. *smooches*

feelings. a whoa whoa whoa feelings

I feel like my digital camera has thrown up all over my blog. However, just in case you don't feel that way ... How about another photo of my new sofa? Ha. I'm kidding. Anyway, the problem is that, with a defunct laptop, the only time I can download pictures is when I'm at John's ... which is frequently; however, it's quite infrequently that I remember a) my camera, b) to make sure the batteries are sufficiently charged, and c) the little cordy thing that connects camera to computer. Last night, the fates smiled down upon me, and I had all three things. Yay. Thus, explaineth the digiphotovomit of the previous entries. My most heartfelt apologies for inflicting it upon you. Some randomly generated thoughts from the mind of Vuboq: I haven't had any coffee all day (except that one brief mouthful of yesterday's leftover coffee *gag* *cough* *sputter*). Kettle Chips Cheddar Beer flavor. Not so good. I could use a martini. If spring doesn't get here soon, I ma...

At Last. I Have Found It.

For lunch today, I decided to buy a bag of chips from Whole Foods. I eventually settled on Kettle brand Krinkle Cut Chips Buffalo Bleu flavor: "BRAZEN spice mellowed by bleu cheese." Hm. I like bleu cheese. I like BRAZEN spice [I also wonder why BRAZEN has to be in all caps, but I didn't make the Kettle brand Krinkle Cut Chips Packaging Rules]. So, here I am contemplating the all natural, transfatless potato chip: Look at those flavor-filled nooks and crannies! Is your mouth watering? Then, the taste: *crunch* *chew* *crunch* *chew* According to the bag, "the tangy chili spice hits you right up front with this bold chip. The hint of bleu cheese takes time to arrive, but when it does you'll know." Oh, yes. I knew: The worst tasting potato chip since VUBOQ ate Kettle brand Cheddar and Beer flavor [which should be marketed with the slogan "It tastes like sweaty feet! YUM"]. But, I can't stop eating them. Someone, send help.

Shocking Realization!

Kettle Chips Salt and Vinegar flavor tastes a little like vomit. Now, I have a difficult decision to make. Which Kettle Chips flavor do a dislike the most: A certain person 's favorite Cheddar and Beer or the aforementioned Salt and Vinegar flavor? Feet versus Vomit. Why is life full of such difficult decisions?

A few months ago (I think), prior to Diary-X crashing and burning, I wrote a little product review about the what-I can-only-imagine-feet-taste-like Kettle Chips Cheddar and Beer flavor. Today, I am happy to report I have found a new love: Kettle Chips Spicy Thai flavor. My mouth is burning, but not in the Kettle Chips Jalapeno and (whatever) flavor oh my god douse my head in a bucket of ice cold water way, more in a mild tingling sensation way. Hints of lime and ginger and the aforementioned chili are mixed with the sweetness of honey. My only complaint is that they may be a little too sweet. I still want to eat the entire bag right now . And I may do so.
