Good Morning, Kittens. It's Friday! Hurrah. Plans for this weekend include: sleep, sleep, a little more sleep, and then some sleep. Also, I will be attending a baby party (not a shower, apparently) for my neighbors. I also have to go to the post office to pick up a package. Last night, I had dinner with Isa and her husband. I met them at Matchbox in Chainatown after work. Fun times. We ate lots. We drank lots. And then I came home and went to bed. Oh, I livez teh Exciting Life. Have a great weekend! *smooches*

Good Morning, Kittens. Yesterday certainly was exciting! (*cough*) There was a work-related field trip to some new construction. Then, when I got back, a co-worker, who has been going room-by-room through the building made a discovery, which could make my job about a GaBillion times easier. Hurrah. We shall see. I have to make some calls today to verify the discovery. I know. I'm being vague, but I don't want to be dooced or anything. After work, I met Mike (not the one Who Makes Cakes) for dinner. We went to the Banana Cafe in Eastern Market. I had the spinach and mushroom chili relleno. Yum. It was good to catch up. I am still feeling a bit under the weather. Blah. Tonight, I am meeting my college friend, Isa, and her husband for dinner. Not sure where we are going. I am very looking forward to sleeping this weekend. Have a great day! *smooches* p.s. 1. He took a nap yesterday afternoon for about an hour. 2. He stayed over at Y's (and he *never* sleeps well at Y's). 3. He went to bed at 10:30, which means he woke up at 2. 4. Y's apartment was too cold. 5. Y's apartment was too hot. 6. Y's apartment was too cold. 7. Fuego is a naughty kitty. 8. He had to get up to go to the bathroom at 2:30. 9. Y came to bed around 3. 10. He was thirsty at 3:30. And, 6:30 came awfully early. Now, vuboq can't decide if he hasn't had enough coffee ... or if he's had too much.

SWING! I made pitcher. Now, I make bedtime. *good night smooches*

That's the last time I stay up until after midnight drinking wine, playing Scrabulous, and chatting with people on a school night. *oog* There was big excitement in little Sligo Creek Park last night. Around 11PM (or so) the Montgomery County Police pulled a minivan over right in front of our building. Apparently, it was a slow crime night in Silver Spring, because, at one point, there were 5 police cars involved. The three people in the van were ordered out of the van and made to sit on the curb while one police officer searched it. Eventually, the officers let two of the "suspects" leave in the minivan. The third young man was driven away in the police car. Very exciting. I had to go up to a neighbor's apartment for a better view. We were in our pjs peering through her blinds with my binoculars. Too funny, I'm sure. In other thrilling news, because the weather was so nice yesterday (low 60s?), I went for a run of about 20 minutes. My best guesstimate ...

This is what VUBOQ looks like when he hasn't had enough sleep: My date tonight isn't 'til 8:30 ... so maybe I can take a quick nap beforehand. Naps are the most rockingest things ever. EVER. Oh. This is the view from my cubicle: It is very snowy out. This morning, I woke up and thought, "Hm. It's dark outside. I wonder what time it is." So, I put on my glasses, looked at the clock and *GAH* 6:24. The alarm usually goes off at 6:20, but I had forgotten to set it last night. Oops. Good thing I woke up, huh?
