Today We Are 6

Good Morning, Kittens. Happy Valentine's Eve! My weekend was a whole lot of nothing special. I mostly blobbed around the house, resting and relaxing and trying to shake the remnants of the Airplane Ick. I barely even left the house. Today, however, is a Very Special Day. VUBOQ turns six. Wow. Of course, I was blogging several years before VUBOQ came into being ... but, still. Six. I have seen bloggers come and go, but I guess I'll keep on chronicling my not very exciting life and see where it takes us. To mark this momentous occasion, here's a photo of Isabella sleeping on the rug: Now, I am off to meet a friend for lunch. Then, some shopping and pottery class tonight. Yay for Mondays off! Have a great day! *smooches*

Today We Are Three

Good Morning, Kittens! Yep. The Terrible Twos are over at last. Three years ago today, VUBOQ arose from the diary-x ashes . And all the world became a slightly bitterer place. Huzzah! Here are a few high(and low)lights from the year that was ... VUBOQ creates Baseball Day . VUBOQ has the Best Birthday Party EVER ! VUBOQ meets some SuperFantastic BloggerChicks ! VUBOQ discovers the Most Disgusting Flavor of Potato Chips in the Whole Wide World . VUBOQ learns to change a flat tire ... the hard way on a trip to NYC . VUBOQ hangs out with SuperCute Bloggers in NYC and DC . VUBOQ learns that sometimes bad things happen to good bitter people. VUBOQ has a painfully obvious crush on someone . VUBOQ carves teh pumpkins . VUBOQ realizes he is White Trash . VUBOQ conversates against each other . VUBOQ pisses people off (and becomes a Gay Uncle!). What a wild and crazy ride! *smooches*

Terrible Twos

Happy Blogrthday to VUBOQ Happy Blogrthday to VUBOQ Happy Blogrthday to VUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBOQ Happy Blogrthday to VU. Yep. Today we are two . Hard to believe, huh? I mean, like, so much has happened in two years. I drank a lot. And I knitted. And I watched DVDs. *whew* Seriously, people, why do you keep reading this schlock? I find it a little baffling, really. Oh, well. I promise to keep on drinking, knitting, and watching DVDs for years to come ... just for you . Stay tuned. Meanwhile, we had an ice storm last night. I love how the trees looked like they'd been dipped in glass this morning. I didn't love walking (er ... sliding) to work, though. I also didn't love how the traffic lights were out near my office. Listen, people, I don't even drive and I know that, when the traffic lights aren't working, you treat it as a 4-way stop . It does NOT mean that you can just speed through the intersection like it's not there. And, I'm looking at you gigantic garbage...
