I have just made a shocking realization: Not one of the teachers mentioned in the *entire* Harry Potter series was married! Not a one. My new theory is that the Ministry of Magic punished teh Gayz by sending them to remote/isolated schools to teach. Thus, removing them from greater society ... ... But giving them a freakish amount of control over future generations [Hey, no one ever said the Ministry of Magic comes up with *good* ideas]. No wonder Snape had such a fascination with Harry.

Here're are a few pics and thoughts to fill in the blanks from my post yesterday. This is Friday around midnight:30, outside the Borders ... waiting waiting waiting to buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: And, here's a photo Y took of Tomokito and me at Joey's birthday party. My shirt, by the way, was older than the birthday boy: Fun party. Met some very nice people. I also met 2 of Y's recent exes. One was funny and personable. The other? *meh* As Y told me later, "the only thing he asked me about you was 'Is his c**k bigger than mine?'" Apparently someone has a little [*heh* "little"] size inferiority complex. Y said he responded, "Of course." I think I was looking pretty good for someone functioning on about 4 hours of sleep. Happy Sunday, Kittens! Just checking in from a coffeehouse in College Park. I'm hanging out here with Y ... *woot* ... and by "hanging out" I mean "pretty much ignoring each other and doing our own thing." I'm about to crack open one of my short stories and do a little typetytypetyping on it. Fun times. Anyway, I finished Harry Potter 7 yesterday afternoon around 2, after an all night/all morning reading session. And, OMGWTFBBQ!!!111oneuno, it was forking awesome! My initial impression is that it's probably the best of the seven books. Everything was tied up neatly with a bow on top. Quite lovely. I laughed. I cried. I laughed while crying ("Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion" - name that quote moviebitches!). Such a satisfying read.
